On Friday, August 12, Deacon Ross Guthrie will be hosting another night of Benedictine Prayer at All Saints from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. A light meal will be provided at 6:00 and then we will begin praying a Benedictine prayer office at 6:30, which will include praying and chanting the Psalms, Scripture readings, a reading from the Benedictine Rule, and a brief teaching related to the reading, followed by discussion. If you are interested in learning about the Christian tradition of Benedictine prayer, Benedictine spirituality, the connection between St. Benedict and the Anglican Tradition, and the use of the Benedictine Rule in Anglican life and history, then join us. In true Benedictine hospitality, all are welcome... and bring a friend. Activities for children will be provided.
