Vestry Recommendations

We are blessed each year to have such a wonderful and servant-hearted crew of folks who serve on our Vestry. As you may know, the Vestry at All Saints consists of eight members elected by the parish and “vested” with the responsibility of making administrative and budgetary decisions. They are also responsible to work with the clergy and staff in offering spiritual leadership for our church.

Each year, four individuals roll off the Vestry and four new members are elected to serve a two-year term. The outgoing Vestry members serve as the Nominating Committee for those who will be elected by the parish in January, and they would like to hear from you.

If there is anyone whom you think would make an excellent Vestry member, please recommend that person to Scott Huelin, the Chair of the Nominating Committee. We are looking for folks who are involved and confirmed members of All Saints, humble servants with a Christ-like character, intentional in cultivating their life with God, team players who work well with others, and cheerful givers to the church not only in terms of money but also of time and talent. Also make sure not to recommend anyone whose spouse or immediate family member is currently on the Vestry or serving as clergy or staff.

The committee will meet at the end of the month to decide upon four nominees and will then inform the parish of those nominees in December. The other members of the Nomination Committee include Chelsy Crawford, Marcelo Psungo, and Sally Slack. Please be in prayer for this process.
