Centering Prayer Workshop

9:00am – 2:00pm
Centering Prayer Introductory Workshop
Contemplative prayer is God’s personal and unique gift to us and has been a part of our Christian heritage for centuries. If we are open to this gift, it may profoundly affect our daily life. An interior experience of God’s presence activates our capacity to perceive Him in everything else, in people, in events, in nature.
The Centering Prayer Introductory Workshop explains this gift and how it deepens our relationship with God. It teaches a simple method of Christian silent prayer. The Workshop offers four presentations led by two highly experienced Contemplative Outreach Commissioned Presenters, two opportunities to experience the prayer, and ample time for questions and discussion.
Whether you are new to contemplative practices or just curious to know more, please consider joining us!
