Another semester of Pastorates (small groups) begins Wednesday, September 2 from 6:00—8:00 pm. This is a great opportunity for folks to connect with one another and spur one another on toward following Jesus as a way of life. We’ve got four great groups this year that will meet every other week for five weeks. Here’s a quick preview. To signup, email Fr. Wes.

Inquirers Pastorate
Facilitator: Fr. Wes Gristy
Hosts: Tom and Janet Brown
244 Millstream Drive
This Pastorate is an introduction to the Anglican tradition designed to assist those who’d like to learn more about Anglican history, theology, and practice. For those who chose, the Pastorate prepares one for confirmation when our bishop comes to All Saints on Sunday, November 1, but anyone desiring a refresher is welcome to attend as well.

Looking Like Jesus
Facilitators: Nancy & David Thomas
Hosts: Nancy & David Thomas
70 Wellington Drive
Following Jesus involves the connection between formation and mission, between who we are and what we’re called to do in the Kingdom, between who we are and who we are becoming in Christ. Of all the things Peter could say about Jesus, it is recorded in Acts 10: “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.” This Pastorate will consider different aspects of the life of Christ, how he lived and how he went around doing good, and also how he is asking us to live.

Faith and the Table
Facilitator: Donald Jordan
Hosts: Billy and Sally Slack
151 Oakmont Place
From the Eucharist to a late night snack, from family dinners to food on the run, this Pastorate will be based around shared meals as we take a closer look into what we might learn about God’s kingdom through gardening, recipes, family traditions, food injustice, and our invitation to the Table.

Jesus in the Old Testament
Facilitator: Gary Osborne
Hosts: Jim and Halina Warmbrod
947 Grayson Lane
Our faith is centered on Jesus the Christ so that our lives might reflect his life and teachings. We know that the New Testament tells of Jesus from birth to ascension, but did you know that Jesus is also depicted throughout the Old Testament? This Pastorate will enhance your understanding and appreciation of the Bible as a whole as we study Jesus in the Old Testament.
